Events Manager & Executive Assistant

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and energetic Events Manager & Executive Assistant to join the Elixinol marketing team to oversee the strategy and execution of our trade shows. You will work closely with sales, services, finance and senior leadership to develop the strategy and planning for all events, researching and managing trade shows, including executing our event strategy and measuring success of our events. You can not only manage event logistics and budget, but understand the event’s role in an integrated campaign and be able to drive interrelated activities and lead cross-functional teams to maximize the event’s impact on our business.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated plan and logistics for trade shows from initial planning to on-site event management and post event follow up.
  • Focus on driving engagement and excitement at events, developing creative promotions, fun booth ideas, and compelling sales interactions.
  • Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to deliver a consistent event experience and work closely with our Sales & Business Development Reps on pre-event registration, post-event follow-up and closed loop reporting.
  • Ensure we are presenting relevant content, maintaining corporate branding, and developing pre- and post- event communication strategies that deliver results.
  • Maintain North America’s industry events calendar and communicate internally to all stakeholders.
  • Evaluate event performance, including lead and ROI tracking and deliver wrap-up reports.
  • Manage event budget; evaluate results against goals, and generate learning for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of event management experience at a B2B company.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing events for demand generation.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with multiple priorities while maintaining strong focus on details, execution and results.
  • Maintain vendor communications and Marketing Department calendar.
  • Daily collaboration with Marketing Director.
  • Set appointments, manage tasks and travel for Marketing Director.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Willing to travel up to 20% to organize events as needed.
  • Able to lift 50lbs or more.
  • Health and wellness experience a plus.
  • Positive attitude, great with interpersonal communication and motivating others.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

This is a more than full time employed position with some remote work but will be primarily at the office.

Regional Sales Manager

Overview

This position is responsible for the sale of the organization’s products in a specified region or major geographical area and provides ongoing support to product distribution channels. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for territory growth while managing and working with the sales rep organizations.

Location

  • Broomfield Colorado and the mid west region of the United States.
  • San Diego California and the western region of the United States.
  • New York City, New York and the eastern region of the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for territory growth in the South West United States and diversification within wholesale, medical professional, bulk material and retail locations.
  • Driving growth with all product lines.
  • Managing and growing a sales sales rep team for the region.
  • Providing training to sales reps and distribution partners on existing and new products.
  • Performing sales rep reviews on a quarterly basis to review territory performance.
  • Developing and nurture new customers.
  • Achieving sales objectives established for the territory.
  • Coordinating and assist in leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparation.
  • Attending trade shows as required.
  • Traveling with rep organizations and distribution partners to customer base in order to promote Rosenberger products.
  • Reporting daily and weekly to management on territory activity.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training,  or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five plus years field sales experience with ‘health and wellness’ experience preferred.

  • Read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.

Reasoning Abilities

  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Computer Skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of computers, networking, Internet software, Google office, spreadsheet and word processing software such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Fulfillment Associate

Overview

The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for assisting with the management of Elixinol’s facility, warehouse, and fulfillment center. Responsibilities will include order fulfillment, inventory tracking and material receipt. This position also includes general warehouse duties and operational tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Open/close our Broomfield fulfillment center daily.
  • Receiving and storing of materials within the warehouse and fulfillment center.
  • Maintain product inventory, fulfillment supplies and organization of product stock.
  • Prepare, sort, and review orders that are sent on a daily basis.
  • Printing packing slips, product picking, packing, and labeling of orders.
  • Accurate posting and labeling, carrying, loading, delivering and receiving daily shipments from USPS, UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.
  • Assist in the transport of stock from manufacturing site to fulfillment center.
  • Occasional order entry and providing assistance to office staff with tracking needs and order status.
  • Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the warehouse to ensure an efficient and safe work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and skills:

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Good interpersonal skills and able to cooperate and communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisor and outside contacts.
  • Excellent organizational skills as well as proficiency in verbal and written communication.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Team-oriented and able to accept ideas and strategic direction from other individuals.
  • Comfortable working independently; self-directed and able to carry out assignments without supervision.
  • Hands on and lifting ability.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires completion of a high school diploma general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education.

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous warehouse and fulfillment experience.
  • Certifications in operating large equipments.
  • Knowledge of/ experience in the Industrial Hemp Industry.
